Privacy

What data does this version use?

This version has no accounts or advertising trackers. Only when you pick a language in the language menu is one functional cookie (hh-locale, 1 year) set, so the home page can send you to that language. Your theme preference is stored in your browser’s localStorage and can be deleted in browser settings.

Search and filtering run in your browser. Queries and filters appear in the address bar and are included when you share the link. No separate analytics event sends search terms.

Shared links carry utm_ parameters that name the channel (e.g. utm_source=whatsapp). They contain no personal data; they only show which channel a share came from.

The hosting provider may retain normal access logs. External source websites have their own privacy policies.

Information stored in your browser

Saved herbs, recently viewed items, read guides, theme, language and advertising preferences are stored only in your browser’s localStorage. They are never sent to a server. You can delete them with one click in the panel below.

External and affiliate links

When you open a source, marketplace or affiliate link, that website may use its own cookies and tracking. Its own privacy policy applies; Herbadex has no access to that data.

Advertising partners and Google cookies

This site may show Google AdSense ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. You can opt out of third-party vendors' cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. How Google uses data from partner sites: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's certified consent message before advertising cookies are used; visitors in applicable US states can opt out of the sale or sharing of their data. You can withdraw your choice at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Turkish data protection law (KVKK), you have rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection regarding your personal data. This site stores no personal data on its own servers. Send requests to iletisim@herbadex.com; you may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
